I was born in Trinidad in the West Indies and Trinidad's exuberant culture and the Caribbean's beautiful landscapes, flora and fauna are the sources of my inspiration and the subjects of my paintings.

I paint semi-abstract impressions, stressing colour and rhythm.

My aim is to achieve a childlike state, in which there is an immediate connection between nature and the observer, and I deliberately paint in a naïve style which, for me, is the best replication of childhood's first impressions of colours and shapes.

My paintings are for sale in the original, or as prints in a wide range of sizes, on fine art paper or as box canvases. Please telephone or e-mail me for details.
